Reasons for the Work

The roof of a residential building in Pasadena where our client was the building manager had started leaking during the rainy season. It was installed over 10 years ago, and the shingles had become worn and brittle due to the harsh weather conditions. The customer wanted to get a new roof that was more durable and weather resistant.

Project Size: 8600 square feet.

Client’s Wishes

The customer’s wish was to get the best roof they could get. He wanted a high-quality roof that would withstand the area’s harsh weather conditions and not start leaking during the rainy season.

Stages of Project

The stages involved in completing the project included the removal of the existing roof, the installation of flashing, and the installation of shingles. The first step of the work was to remove the existing roof and inspect the decking and structure underneath. Once the decking and structure were inspected and approved, the new roofing materials were installed. This included an underlayment system that provided an extra layer of protection and insulation. After this, flashing was installed around the edges to prevent water from entering the home. Finally, the shingles were installed to complete the roof. Our expert roofing team also sealed all seams and joints with a waterproof sealant to ensure a watertight installation.

Materials and Technologies Used For the Project

The materials and technologies used while working on the project included the shingle roof, underlayment system, and flashing. The shingle roof was a high-quality asphalt shingle roof designed to withstand the area’s harsh weather conditions. The underlayment system provided an extra layer of protection and insulation, while the flashing was used around the edges to prevent water from entering the home.
